Yacht Design
A Matter Of Intention
Commissioned by Mulder Shipyard to celebrate its 85th anniversary, this special edition of the Favorite 1700 redefines what is possible within a given space. Though ‘just’ seventeen metres in length, its every surface speaks the language of luxurious yacht design—refined, integrated, and bespoke.
The snow-white hull and crystal silver metallic superstructure set the tone for an interior defined by nuance and restraint. A neutral palette forms the foundation for a rich composition of marble, bronze, eggshell, fine wood, leather, and tactile fabrics, all layered with the utmost precision. Subtle stitching in white and burnt orange adds rhythm and refinement.
Creating luxury in a yacht requires more than beautiful materials. It demands a choreography of light, layout, and movement. Every inch has been carefully considered, every junction aligned. Lighting guides the eye and the body, flowing naturally from interior to exterior. The result is a harmonious whole: elegant, serene, and quietly confident. Not only did this yacht offer complete creative freedom, it was an opportunity to demonstrate how intimacy and impact are not a matter of scale, but of intention.
