About the brand
Multiple award-winning interior designer Roelfien Vos, creates internationally a variety of luxurious designs for yachts, residential and hospitality projects. Up until 1986 she lived in Germany, where she completed her education. After having acquired experience in various commercial positions, she started her career in 1999 as an interior designer and the co-founder of “De Blauwe Kamer”. In 2010 she continued the eponymous design company as the owner and founder of Roelfien Vos Interior Design & Architecture.

Roelfien finds inspiration in international design fairs, as well as during the numerous trips abroad – which are part of her work. Her style is a mix of customised objects, contemporary design and unique finds with close attention to detail. Together with her team, Roelfien unifies and creates a perfect balance in the choice of materials, colours, architectural forms and the way to combine them. As every project stands out by a luxurious and exclusive custom design, the characteristic features of these projects are based on the clients individual needs and desires. The ability to interpret these, leads to a refined and admirable design concept.
With extensive experience delivering exclusive designs for yachts, residential and hospitality projects, Roelfien and her team have cultivated an unparalleled fusion of experience and services to provide clients with the ultimate feeling in exclusive living. Many projects are featured in some of the most prestigious magazines such as “Residence”, “Harper’s Bazaar” and “Livingetc”. Roelfien's exceptional work has been recognized with numerous prestigious accolades over the years. In 2016, she was honored with the International Design & Architecture Award for Living Space Global, and in 2020, she received the Luxury Lifestyle Award for excellence in Residential Interior Design. Her continued dedication to bespoke, high-end interiors led to the International Design & Architecture Award once again in 2023, this time for Luxury Residence Europe. Most recently, her firm was named Best Luxury Interior Design & Architecture Firm by Leaders in Luxury 2024, and was also awarded in the IF Design Awards 2024 for Residential Interiors.

All on-site trades are managed from a single source, ensuring a smooth process from construction finishes to interior fittings.
The studio’s expertise spans a wide range of design services, including lighting design, bedroom and bathroom layouts, custom joinery, architectural detailing, colour and material planning, furniture selection, and interior decoration. In addition, the team produces high-quality computerised drawings, designs, and renderings—delivering fully integrated, turn-key design solutions with precision and style.

CONTRIBUTION
As a successful studio, we want to give back to the community. In 2014, we chose to support the Liliane Fonds, a global initiative that helps children with disabilities gain equal opportunities in education and social life. Around 80% of these children live in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, where poverty, lack of awareness, and limited education often trap them in a cycle of exclusion. Recognized worldwide as a human rights issue, the Liliane Fonds works with local partners and expert teams, supported by donations, to create lasting change.
